WiSJ is

The Women in Science, Japan (WiSJ) is a group formed under the leadership of eight Japanese female scientists who gathered in 2019 with the desire to help young female scientists play an active role in the research field of Chromatin Biology.

We will hold an international symposium entitled the International Symposium for Women Researchers in Chromatin Biology (ISFRCB), in order to promote friendship among the participants and to help young women researchers become successful scientists in this field. We invite well-known female principal investigators from around the world and will work together to promote careers, mentor colleagues and students, discuss laboratory organization and advise on the many difficulties one encounters while combining a professional career in research with other personal responsibilities.

The following two events will be held on December 3 (Sat) and 5 (Mon), 2022, which are official satellite events of the 45th Annual Meeting of the Molecular Biology Society of Japan (Nov 30 to Dec 2, 2022, Chiba).
